We have a Sta-rite pump and a Laars LX boiler and would like to put them on a timer. The Laars manual recommends that water is circulated round the heater for at least 15 minutes after the heater is switched off to dissipate any residual heat left in the exchanger.

Does anyone know of a suitable timer that can control both the pump and the heater giving the pump a minimum 15 minute delay to switching off after the heater has switched off?

Thanks Donna

An electrician will set you up with a delay time relay, make sure he understands that some boilers are volt free and not to apply mains voltage to it.
